Bob Frantz is an 18-year sports talk radio veteran whose voice has been heard in major markets across the country—a voice that now returns to the Toledo airwaves!

Bob’s broadcasting career began in 1996 in Oberlin, OH and has included successful stops in Cleveland, San Francisco, Orlando, Toledo, and back in Cleveland once again before his return to Toledo on “106.5 The Ticket.”

During his time in Cleveland, Bob hosted a popular evening talk show, while also hosting pregame, halftime, and postgame shows for the Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers.

While in San Francisco, Bob hosted the same programs for the Oakland Raiders, while also serving as the sideline reporter for the Raiders Radio Network.

Bob is no stranger to Toledo, having hosted a highly-rated morning drive program in the Glass City from 2003-2006. His knowledge of the regional sports scene, coupled with nearly two decades of sports experience around the country, makes him one of the most astute and entertaining sports talk hosts in radio.

Bob is also a long-time sportswriter, having written weekly columns for newspapers in San Francisco, Lorain, and Lake County, OH since 2001.

Bob’s new afternoon program, weekdays from 3-5 PM on 106.5 The Ticket, features insightful commentary, passionate opinions, penetrating interviews, and some of the most fun dialogue and debate in all of sports radio. No matter where you loyalties lie—Tigers or Indians, Browns or Lions, Pistons or Cavs, Buckeyes or Wolverines, and of course Falcons or Rockets—you’ll find what you’re looking for on The Bob Frantz Extravaganza on Sports Radio 106.5 The Ticket, weekdays from 3pm to 5pm!
